Meet Dr. Catherine M. Sherry

Practicing full face orthodontics is a true passion of mine. I have always been interested in facial development and creating beautifully balanced faces with great smiles. It adds richness and meaning to my life to be so involved not only with patients but with my staff as well. I continue to learn something new every day. At our office, we love to have fun, and we want you to enjoy coming to see us!

Education

I attended Oklahoma University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Oklahoma University's College of Dentistry and did postgraduate training in orthodontics and early orthodontic treatment of children. Before all of this, I graduated from Yukon High School in Oklahoma.

Continuing Education

I have many years of continued training with cosmetic procedures, Invisalign aligner therapy, Lumineers, laser dentistry, and CEREC crowns. I believe it is extremely important to keep current on the newest techniques and technology in order to provide my patients with the best care possible.

In the Community

Being involved in my community is very important to me. I have completed the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life for the past 11 years and participate in Community Coffee with the Chamber of Commerce. For the past 25 years I have participated in Give Kids a Smile, as well as Smiles for Success.

Outside the Office

I am originally from Chillicothe, Ohio, and have lived in Yukon for the past 30 years. My husband is Dr. Keith Coulson and we have three daughters, three cats, and two dogs. When I'm not in the office I enjoy yoga, reading, gardening, and Transpersonal psychology.

Meet Dr. Keith Coulson

In dental school we were taught the same techniques that Abraham Lincoln's dentist would have used. Other than the mechanical upgrades, we thought dentistry wouldn't change that much. Fortunately a young, Swiss Dentist was looking ahead and waiting for computer technology to evolve. Now we are able to make porcelain crowns with a computer in about an hour. I enjoy the fact that every situation brings a unique opportunity to combine my clinical skills with computer-driven technology. With this combination I can create a beautiful result that has never before been possible. Sometimes my work is most effective when no one notices; sometimes it is best when everyone notices. I can truly say that in 28 years I have never done exactly the same thing twice.

Education

I graduated Yukon High School and went on to attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1976. I continued on to Oklahoma University's College of Dentistry, graduating with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1982.

Continuing Education

The field of dentistry is constantly changing, with new technology and procedures becoming available every day. I have completed post-graduate training in implants, conscious sedation, CEREC, Invisalign, Lumineers and Laser dentistry.

Outside the Office

I have lived in Yukon my entire life. I am married to the Boss, Dr. Catherine Sherry, and we have three daughters, Ki, Annie, and Maya. When I'm not in the office I enjoy woodworking and jewelry making.

Meet Dr. Marie Bockus

Caring for such wonderful patients and working with my hands makes me happy. I absolutely love working with patients of all ages, but especially enjoy seeing children. We not only put a smile on their little faces, but they have the same effect on us. Our team works hard to create a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for our patients. We want everyone to enjoy their time with us.

Education

I attended Oklahoma State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition before continuing on to Oklahoma University's College of Dentistry.

Outside the Office

I am married to my husband, Hank, and we have a daughter named Addison and a bulldog named Ethel. In my free time I enjoy reading, practicing yoga, and spending time with my family. I also volunteer my time at Crossings Community Dental Clinic.
